The Bureau of Plant Industry – Crop Pest Management Division (BPI-CPMD) conducted a field visit and BCAs application in the selected cornfield in the municipalities of Cabanatuan and Sto. Domingo Nueva Ecija. These are part of the preparation of the study tour of the officials from the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) on October 2024, at the BPI-CPMD Malate, Manila. In addition, the team also visited the Regional Crop Protection Center (RCPC) III pertaining to the evaluation of BCAs as part of the Climate Smart Pest Management (CSPM) project.
